Details: Bundaberg Pure Gold, released in 1999 exclusively for the Duty Free market. Its timely launch enabled maximum exposure of the Bundaberg Rum brand during the 2000 Olympic Games and would appeal to overseas visitors looking for the perfect gift and exclusive memento of their visit to Australia.  

Pure Gold was matured in oak vats and charcoal filtered to give a smooth, mellow flavour.

With sweet hints of caramel, a light taste and a rich golden colour, Bundaberg Pure Gold can be enjoyed neat or on ice.

Bundaberg Pure Gold is said to be the forerunner for Distillers No. 3.

Variations:  One of the most sought after bottles, this stylish decanted bottle and box is considered a holy grail for collectors.  Each bottle is individually numbered with a sticker on the base of the bottle. Sold Duty Free for $AUD34.95 RRP.  Other merchandise that came with these bottles included a Bundaberg Pure Gold paper carry bag.  Baseball caps were also sold as a separate line.
